Microtrench Fiber Alignment Design

Summary

Microduct‑based FTTH design using microtrenching methods for the Hagerstown–Halfway area. The project included routing backbone and residential segments, placing handholes/peds within ROW limits, and preparing permit‑ready drawings aligned with local and DOT guidelines. Location: Hagerstown – Halfway, Maryland Service: Microtrench FTTH Design + Permit Documentation Infrastructure: (3) 16mm microduct + 48CT fiber Inputs: Route alignment, ROW constraints, client standards Deliverables: HLD, LLD, microtrench routing, handhole/ped placements, permit-ready drawings Scope of Work Developed HLD & LLD for a microduct‑based FTTH network. Planned backbone + residential routes using microtrenching along curb/gutter seams. Aligned all placements with ROW limits, microtrench guidelines, and depth requirements. Placed handholes and peds within green areas as per client standards. Added trench notes, construction notes, DOT/TCP requirements, and site‑specific traffic control notes. Applied correct symbology, labeling, callouts, and routing per approved standards.
